Education is a life-long process. With this in mind, James Lyng Adult Education Centre offers a full range of academic programs for students looking to complete their studies.

DBE in adult general education is an adaptation for adult learners of the Québec Education Program and Secondary Cycle Two of the youth sector that offers programs of study associated with the following instructional services: Secondary Cycle Two or preparatory services for postsecondary education. This program leads to a Secondary School Diploma, vocational training or postsecondary studies and pre-requisites for CEGEP.

Secondary school academic courses are part of the Diversified Basic Education (DBE) program for adult learners.
